Things to do on a Sunday

 1. Shift your mindset

Don’t waste your Sunday having a ‘lazy day’ binge watching your favourite programme.

Use Sunday as the start of your week.

Take the pressure off of Monday, get a head start on the week & get yourself prepped for what lies ahead.

2. Meal prep/plan

Save yourself time on everyday of the next week by either prepping your meals for the week ahead or at least planning your meals so you’re not spending time each day looking through your cupboards or fridge-freezer wondering what you can whip together.

You’ll also save money & be less wasteful by doing this!

3. Plan your week ahead.

Plan EVERYTHING! Get out your favourite planner & get your todo lists in order. We have some free downloadable planners available from our shop.
Free Downloads

Try to plan your week as much as you can using hour slots & write specifically what you are planning to do, so if you’re planning to schedule some posts on Facebook, what type of posts are you going to schedule etc…?

The more you can plan, the more smoothly your week will run as you will know exactly what you’re doing & when.

4. Prioritise

Sometimes your todo list can feel endless, so it is VERY important to prioritise, this way you can tick off your most important tasks before moving onto the less important ones.

Stick to just one list, don’t over complicate it.

5. Inboxes

Get on top of all of those inboxes & start your week completely fresh.

6. Set goals

Reflect on how the last week went, then think about how you would like to change the week ahead.

Then set yourself out some goals to get those results that you want.

Also think about your bigger goals too & think about the steps you can take to start working towards them, our large goals should always be broken down into smaller goals so they seem more achievable to us as we work up to the big goal by smashing all of the smaller ones.

VISUALISE YOUR GOALS

7. Practice self-care

Always make time for self-care on Sunday, have a warm bath, meditate, have a pamper session, do some reading, take a long walk, go out with a loved one.

Whatever self-care is for you, DO IT!

8. Clean your space

Whether your space is an entire house, a room or just a desk, make sure it is clean & tidy, you will feel so much better starting a the week with a clean space.

It will make you happier & more productive if your space is clutter free.

A clean space = A clean mind

9. Relax

Make sure you also take some time to do nothing as well, remember it is still a day of rest so make sure you schedule yourself in some down time too!

Thank-you for reading 🙂

Changes are coming!

It’s okay to take a break, you may of noticed that my blog has been slightly quiet lately. But you’ve been seeing some HUGE changes happening throughout the site.

Why have I been so quiet?

So one of the first changes, I have decided to become an offical business parnter with my very good friend Nicole. Since then we have branched into creating our own merch, opening an affiliate programme & even have set a date to launch a whole CBD range under the Hannabis brand. We have even had a slight re-brand with a brand new Queenie of the Greenie! As well as becoming a member of the Cannabis Trade Association!

On top of this we have become directors for another company called YBU Coaching with the AMAZING Aly Jones. This is a coaching company targeted towards entreprenuiral women. We will be doing live speaking events, as well as providing workshops in our specialised areas.

Did you know only 10% of the entreprenur population is women!? Our aim is to change that & show other women that they don’t have to settle for being just ‘mum’ or ‘housewife’ or even working in that 9-5 they despise.

Another change is that we are also expanding Nicole’s branding business into something where we can support all businesses to grow. Whether that’s helping them with their branding, teaching them how to expand their business using social media or even running their social media for them.

Then ontop of all of this, we are also creating a sister site to Hannabis – CBD Movement LTD. This will be called WE Cannabidol or WECBD for short, it will be an educational platform for any involved with CBD. Whether that is using it for themselves or for their own business purposes.

We’ve even been speaking about opening a shop with our lovely friend Imogen where we can have a little CBD cafe, loads of books for people to read & chill, or come & study in a calm peaceful envrionment and we can run our businesses from the same place in our shared office.

CRAZY TIMES!

So what I’m trying to say here is that it’s okay to take a break from something when another thing needs your focus more. The blogs haven’t completely come to a hult, they’re are still going just not an everyday thing like they were before.

We all think we are so good at multi-tasking, but actually – WE AREN’T!

We might get lots of things done in a short about of time, which gives us a great feeling of accomplishment but have we really done those things to our best abilities? Probably not, because our focus has been to far spread across multiple tasks! When we should of just been focusing on the most important thing.

So if you want to accomplish something to your best ability, you need to take a step back & re-evaluate everything you’re trying to do. Then decide what you can take a break from until the other task you need to complete is done.

I am starting to catch up now to the point where I can start creating some more content within the blog for you all.

I have so many ideas in the pipelines – WATCH THIS SPACE!

My fire is burning STRONG!

Tik-Tok

Tik-Tok, time is a funny thing, we all have it, we all have the same amount of it in a day, but we all choose to use it in different ways, some less productive than others.

We all have 24 hours, 1,440 minutes or 86,4000 seconds, how ever you want to look at it, it is all the same amount, but it is how we choose to use it as an individual that really counts!

To me, time is just an illusion, I’ll explain why…

Have you ever noticed that if you give yourself a set amount of time to do something, so say you’ve given yourself an hour to get your house blitzed, you’ll do it in an hour, no questions asked. But if you were to give yourself say, 2 weeks to do the same task, it would take you 2 weeks to get that task done, with you probably asking yourself a lot of questions because it is festering in your head for so long.

Don’t put yourself down & give yourself long periods of time to ‘get shit done’, when actually you could have it done in no time if you just gave it your full focus, by giving yourself extra time you’re telling your subconscious mind that you’re not capable, when everyone is capable of anything with the right focus & determination!

By giving yourself shorter time frames to ‘get shit done’, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment when you’ve finished & you’re sending your subconscious mind a message that you can kick butt!

Getting tasks done in a shorter amount of time is also going to free up some extra time to ‘get MORE shit done!’, this will give you even more of a sense of accomplishment, which again is going to make you feel great that you can be so productive.

It is important to be realistic about the time frames you are setting yourself, if you’re unrealistic about them & you can’t finish anything in the time you have set yourself, this is going to have the opposite effect & make you feel unaccomplished & useless, rather than making you feel like you are kicking some butt!

Life is too short to dwell on what we do not have yet, get out there, kick some butt, be a badass & make shit happen!

Only you can choose how you spend your time, spend it wisely & the universe will have your back!!!

“I’ve got no motivation”

The thing about motivation is, it doesn’t actually exist, nobody has motivation to do something they don’t want to do, “I’ve got no motivation” is more of an excuse to put something off because you don’t want to do it, rather than an actual reason.

But by putting it off & waiting to be motivated you’re just pro-longing whatever it is you feel like you need motivation for, you could be a lot kinder to yourself & just get it done rather than telling yourself you’re not motivated & leaving yourself dwelling on it.

Recently I have come across the 5 second rule, meaning you count down from 5 like you are going into launch. this stops your subconscious from having time to kick in. You may of already heard of this method from Mel Robbins, I’ve tired & tested it & it honestly works!

Every morning when my alarm goes off (if it actually ends up being before the baby!), I lay there & count, 5,4,3,2,1… then launch myself out of bed for the day, because let’s face it, nobody wants to get out of their warm cosy bed in November!

This method can work in any situation, it doesn’t have to be just getting out of bed, just try it, next time you have no motivation, count down from 5 & launch yourself!

Have you already used this method? Let me know in the comments how it has worked for you, or come back once you’ve tried it!

Wake up earlier

Waking up earlier has many different benefits, it gives you more hours to the day & also boosts your speed, when someone wakes up earlier they’re more energetic. Waking up earlier also reduces stress levels meaning your day will be more positive as a whole & making you a lot happier in overall life.

  1. Don’t hit snooze!
    – Put your feet on the floor & let the universe know that you are awake & aware! By hitting the snooze button your sending a message to your brain saying that you are not ready for the day. Use the 5 second rule to get out of bed, count down, 5,4,3,2,1…GO!
  2. Go to bed earlier.
    – Set an alarm for when to start your bedtime routine so you don’t lose track of time.
  3. Motivate yourself mentally.
    – Listen to podcasts & read books related to waking up early.

  4. Put your alarm out of reach.
    – Make yourself get out of bed to turn the alarm off, then stay out of bed, DO NOT CRAWL BACK IN!
  5. Have a ‘get to it’ attitude.
    – Get excited about your day, even the little things!
  6. Sleep well.
    – Relax you’re body & mind before going to bed, use meditation, keep a notepad by your bed to write things down that pop into your head so you can deal with them in the morning, rather than be thinking about them whilst you’re trying to sleep.
  7. Stick to your wake up time.
    – By sticking to your wake up time this will adjust your body clock.

These tips work, follow them & you’ll be on your way to waking up earlier. Don’t be hard on yourself & expect to be getting up early straight away, these things can take time to adjust, but keep at it & you’ll get there!
